Dr. Brodie Sakakibara (former PhD student of Dr. Bill Miller) who won the CIHR post-doctoral prize for best poster at the Canadian Association of Gerontology Annual Scientific Meeting. The poster, “The prevalence of low mobility and self-management self-efficacy in manual wheelchair-users aged 50 and older” is based on his doctoral research. Brodie is now completing his post-doctoral studies at SFU.
